Magellans Passage Guest Lodge
Description of accommodation:
A tribute to Ferdinand Magellan and all the shipping companies which served Southern Africa and transited the Cape of Good Hope. Magellan’s Passage offers 6 beautifully appointed suites. We offer 2 Sea Facing Suites and 1 Luxury Loft suite with 360 degree views of False Bay and the Swartkop Nature Reserve. We also offer 3 Mountain Facing Suites with exceptional views of the Swartkop Nature Reserve. Whilst the Lodge celebrates the great shipping lines that served Southern Africa until the 1970’s, therein the similarity ends. But the discoveries continue as our Lodge has been designed as an “Eco-Lodge”. Our contribution to counter global warming and reduce our carbon footprint is a testament to preserve our heritage for tomorrow, to preserve the environment. At Magellan’s Passage we are particularly focused on supporting produce from the area and using as much organic produce as possible. Our open plan kitchen will give you the opportunity to enjoy an interactive cooking experience and we encourage our guests to join us in the kitchen. You will be treated to a full breakfast, tapas style lunches and a daily dinner menu that will change with the availability of produce. Come and enjoy the art of culinary discovery at Magellan’s Passage.
