Set at the foot of the world famous Brandwacht Mountains surrounded by Protea and Cape Fynbos vegetation.  The reserve hosts African Elephants, Rhino's, Lions, Mountain Leopards, Buffalo's, Blue Wildebeest, Giraffes, Elands, the endangered Bontebok, Zebras, Lynx, Oryx & other smaller buck species as well as a variety of Birds and the endangered Black Eagle.  All animals are free roaming and interspersed, except lions which can be found on a seperate area of the Reserve.
