Drakenstein Lion Park is an internationally acclaimed and award winning sanctuary for captive born lions. We are involved in the rescuing of lions in distress, from South Africa as well as from overseas. The Park provides lifetime care to all the animals it rescues and provides them with an environment where they can live out their lives with dignity.

We have three specially designed safari tents, each that sleeps two with its own private bathroom and one family tent that sleeps four.

Dinner (a traditional South African braai) and a continental breakfast are served in our rustic Lapa, where you can also enjoy drinks as the sun sets over the majestic Drakenstein mountain range.
