The Lookout Guesthouse is hoog gelegen op een berg,  die uitkijkt op de schilderachtige  badplaats, Port Alfred. De accommodatie heeft ook een  prachtig panorama uitzicht over de Indian Ocean, de Kowie River, de  Royal Alfred Marina  en de kleine  kleurrijke jachthaven. The Lookout guesthouse, dat door veel gasten als " uniek" wordt omschreven, heeft  luxueuse kamers tegen redelijke prijzen. Port Alfred is one of South Africa's premier holiday destinations and is located in what is known as the Sunshine Coast.The white sandy beaches that stretch for miles on either side of the river offer safe swimming and sun bathing and are extremely popular amongst the surfing fraternity. The Kowie River, which is tidal and is navigable for 29 kms is a paradise for boating, bird watching, waterskiing and fishing. Deep sea anglers and scuba divers can charter trips at the harbour. The scenic Royal Port Alfred Golf Course is nearby and the well manicured Fish River Country Club is a 15 minute drive away. The Eastern Cape is a malaria free area and a number of the nearby game parks and reserves (including the well known Addo Elephant Park) have received international acclaim.

Volg de R72 over de brug van de Kowie River.

Neem de eerste afslag links naar Pascoe Cresent . Sla vervolgens direct rechts af  Park Road in . Vervolgens rijdt u de heuvel op en bevindt The Lookout zich rechts van u.

 

       Vanuit East London:

Rij voorbij de BP Tankstation aan het begin van Port Alfred. De sportvelden van de school bevinden zich aan uw rechterhand.

Neem de eerste afslag  rechts naar Park Ave. Sla vervolgens direct  links af naar Park Road. The Lookout bevindt zich 200 meter berg afwaards aan uw rechterhand.

 

 

 

 

Directions to The Lookout Guest House


1. FROM PORT ELIZABETH.

Follow the R72 across the bridge over the Kowie River . Take first turn left into Pascoe Crescent then immediate sharp right into Park Rd . Proceed up the hill and find The Lookout on the right.

2. FROM EAST LONDON

Drive past BP Garage at entrance to Port Alfred. The School playing fields are on the right. Take first right into Park Ave and the first left into Park Rd.. The Lookout is 200 metres down on the left.

3. FROM GRAHAMSTOWN

Follow the R67 from Grahamstown through Bathurst to Port Alfred untill you reach a T junction with the BP Garage opposite you. Turn Right into Albany Road. The School Playing fields are on the right. Take first right into Park Avenue and first left into Park Road.The Lookout is 200 metres down on the left.
